I'm pretty sure Gerard Butler probably did that several times during the filming of 300 even. Haven't you noticed how there are never any boogers in his nostrils. And there are plenty of opportunities to check in that movie. I bet after he threw those persians down the hole at the beginning he flicked a few boogers in right after.
